Training base, showroom

Hikvision, the video surveillance products manufacturer, has opened a new UK office, showroom and training suite in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. The 500-square foot training academy houses a selection of Hikvision’s business class models to support engineers with their learning. This includes analogue and digital cameras.

Previously Hikvision Certified Security Academy (HCSA) could only train 20 installers per day, once a week, but due to demand, the new facility allows for 32 engineers a day, twice a week. The free courses provide CCTV installers with hands-on training for knowledge and skills in video surveillance solutions. Over the past year the HCSA has trained 800 engineers. Hikvision has also a showroom, pictured, to demonstrate the capabilities of its products. Hikvision’s HCSA trainees and guests are invited to experience the showroom and the cameras.

The products on show includes the Darkfighter PTZ range, Turbo, the PanoVu series and thermal cameras.

More than 35 employees are based in the 5000-square foot office which is only 25 minutes from Paddington railway station. The space boasts views of London and surrounding areas.

The expansion of the company’s UK team has led to this move from Maidenhead. The firm says that it will support potential and existing customers, by providing more support for them to better serve local markets. The large area also means that engineers on the HCSA training can now park easily and have a base inside the office to eat lunch.

The new address is 4 The Square, Stockley Park, Uxbridge, UB11 1ET.
