StoneHawk at Houlden day

by Mark Rowe

Houlden Jewellers Ltd has 30 luxury independent members representing around 80 stores across the UK and Ireland. It held a day for members at The Belfry, the golf club near Birmingham. Simon Wilson, pictured, MD of retail security and counter-robbery training company StoneHawk says: ‘We were thrilled to be invited by the Houlden Group members to our second event of 2018; the Summer Getaway at The Belfry Hotel was exceptionally well attended and organised. The warm reception from both the members we have trained and the members we have not (yet!), made for excellent networking and social events across the three days.’

Since a February event, members that have taken the StoneHawk course were able to share their experience with their fellow members and the feedback shared was very positive the trainers report. Members commented that as the result of the course, that they have reviewed their security procedures and the staff are much more aware / empowered from opening through to closing.

StoneHawk are proud to be Houlden Partners and will continue to support the members with our recognised and approved #StopSmashandGrabs training.

StoneHawk adds that its four-hour training course is delivered nationally at the retailer’s showroom or designated training suite and is available to single showroom independents through to brands with multiple showrooms.
