Skills for Security (SfS) have been developing the National Occupational Standards for Remote Monitoring Operations and reviewing Essential Employability (previously known as Common Core).

SfS report that these standards are available for consultation on the Skills for Security website under the section relating to NOS. Click here to read the announcement and find out how to participate.

The closing date for responses is Friday, November 1, 2013. To enable the security industry to respond, an electronic questionnaire is available on the website, with the Draft Suite of Standards and supporting documentation.
