Among the exhibitors last week at the annual International Security Expo at London Olympia was Cyber Griffin.
With a nod to the earlier Project Griffin of collaboration between police and the private sector, the programme was founded by the City of London Police in 2017. It supports businesses and individuals in the Square Mile to protect themselves from cyber crime.
It’s an independent, vendor agnostic service, with access to police and Action Fraud (the national police fraud reporting service) databases. Cyber Griffin’s intelligence-led, NCSC-accredited services are continually updated to reflect the most relevant and prevalent threats to business. All officers are also NCSC-certified.
The threat-focused service model developed by Cyber Griffin is further supported by a digital platform to allow businesses to engage with the offering. This agile approach means organisations can have the services delivered to their staff anywhere and do so with the confidence that Cyber Griffin have the resilience and expertise to offer a high-quality scalable service. Using this approach the programme has now trained more than 26,500 people and worked with over 700 organisations.

Whether you are a small medium enterprise, or a large corporation, Cyber Griffin have a range of free services to assist you. Services can be delivered in person or online and designed to be accessible to everyone, whether they know very little of cyber crime, or are holding IT security and risk management roles.
