Health and safety award for Esoteric

by Mark Rowe

Esoteric Ltd, a counterespionage and electronic sweeping company, has been awarded accreditation from safecontractor for its commitment to health and safety. safecontractor is a third party accreditation scheme which recognises standards in health and safety management among UK contractors. Businesses undergo vetting which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.

Esoteric’s Operations & Compliance Manager Hannah Byford-Smith, pictured, said “Our interest in the safecontractor accreditation was driven by our desire to maintain a high standard of health and safety across all aspects of our business and is just one of a number of measures that Esoteric are undertaking in order to provide a premium quality service to all of our clients.”

And John Kinge, Technical Director of safecontractor said: “Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Esoteric Ltd has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector.”
