Event survey

by Mark Rowe

Worcester Research has been commissioned by Skills for Security, the skills and standards setting body for the security sector, to do research with companies from the event security sector, across the UK, to better understand how the existing qualifications and training meet the needs of the industry. Organisers anticipate that this research can be used to support changes to the qualifications framework within the industry.

As part of this research, you’re invited to take part in an online survey, which will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. The survey can be found at –

http://worcester-research.limequery.com/index.php/166531/lang-en

This survey will include questions about:

– The existing training provision available for staff at your company;
– How suitable existing regulation is for the event security sector; and
– Would a new Entry Level Security Qualification be useful for your business and what should this new qualification include?
– The role of football event security in the greater event security sector and any difficulties involved in working with the Football Association?

You are asked to complete this survey to complete the survey by Friday, February 15.
