GJD, the British manufacturer of presence detection, LED illuminators and security lighting, has launched its Engineer Workshop. The firm’s aim; to provide specific product expertise to security installers. The workshops are free to attend and deliver in-house product training, installation tips and technical support.

The workshop at GJD’s head office in Heywood, Greater Manchester runs on Wednesday, February 22, between 9.30am to 11.30am. The agenda includes live interactive GJD product demos, plus a guided tour of the GJD factory. Complimentary breakfast, tea and coffee is available.

Attendees work in small teams learning about GJD’s products, how the products interact with other technologies and the benefits of product integrations.

Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, GJD’s Sales and Marketing Director said: “GJD takes great pride in developing new innovative designs; utilising the latest technology and implementing state-of-the art manufacturing techniques, which ensure our respected position within the industry. We are really committed to making sure our entire product range performs efficiently. We have found that by working closely with our installers and providing invaluable training sessions, products are correctly installed first time, which reduces nuisance alarms and saves time and costs for both the installer and end-user.”

GJD adds that its technical team are trained to support installers, specifiers and consultants to ensure the right detectors and LED illuminators are selected to suit applications.
