Training

Dubai partners

SGW Consulting Group have entered into a partnership agreement with Griffin Security Group to deliver a new five-day level four accredited training course, in risk management (security). It’s first running at Festival City, Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

This Highfield externally accredited course is designed say the organisers to provide the takers with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to confidently undertake a variety of security related management and practitioner roles in corporate, commercial and other business sectors.

The course is described as a mix of PowerPoint presentations, discussion and exercises. The focus is on providing an information and interactive environment that is conducive to learning. There will be opportunities for delegates to have one‐to-one access to the course trainers and consultants to discuss any specific or sensitive issues.

Assessment will be based upon a combination of a security survey report and a level four case study response document. (Time will be allowed to complete this during the course or students may opt to submit post‐course.) An evidence‐based portfolio will be produced by individual learners during the period of the training course.

Simon Whitehouse, Managing Director of SGW Consulting Group says: “We have worked with Griffin Security Group on a variety of assignments previously and are delighted to partner with them in the United Arab Emirates to bring a recognised security programme to the region.‟ He is pictured left with Allan Hildage of Griffin.

The Griffin Security Group, as independent security consultants, provides security consultancy services based on ISO/IEC 27001 including: information security, personnel security, physical security, technical security, risk assessments, business continuity planning, disaster recovery and crisis management.
