The seventh annual Cyber Defence and Network Security (CDANS) conference is running from January 28 to 31 in London.
Organisers IQPC report that the event at the Hotel Russell provides attendees with strategic briefings from 26 international military and cyber people. It’s aimed at heads of CERT, systems security, Military IT, Counter-Terrorism, and cyber Crime and networks.
Speaking on private-private partnerships in the field of CNI (critical national infrastructure) is Richard McConnell, Chief Information Officer at Euroclear, in Belgium.
Other invited speakers from the UK included Paul Swarbrick, Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Cyber Security at the NATS; and Kawser Hamid, Lead Policy Officer at the data protection watchdog the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Besides two days of conference speaking on the Tuesday and Wednesday, January 29 and 30, there are days of workshops on the Monday and Thursday, covering cloud security and data protection; and incident response and simulation testing. For details visit http://www.cdans.org.
