Course discount for IPSA members

by Mark Rowe

Tavcom, the Hampshire-based provider of accredited security systems training, is offering IPSA members a 15 per cent discount on its BTEC classroom, workshop and online training courses.

Justin Bentley, Chief Executive Officer of IPSA (International Professional Security Association), is pictured left with Paul Tennent of Tavcom. Justin said: “I know that IPSA members are always looking to enhance their professional development and take on board career enhancing knowledge and qualifications. I am therefore delighted that we have been able to negotiate this substantial discount on Tavcom accredited courses and I would encourage all our members to take a close look at the Tavcom Prospectus which can be viewed at www.tavcom.com.”

Part of the Linx International Group, Tavcom offers courses from foundation level for those with little or no previous experience, to programmes for security managers and company executives. In total, Tavcom offer over 70 regularly scheduled training courses ranging from one day seminars, to five day fully residential courses.

Tavcom’s workshops in Bishops Waltham, Hampshire provide ‘hands-on’ facilities which offer opportunities to put theory into practice – a Tavcom 20-year tradition of blended learning. Tavcom tutored supported online e-learning courses are intended to offer a practical alternative to traditional classroom style courses and will allow IPSA members to acquire new skill sets without having to come ‘off the road’.
