ASIS Europe 2016 speaker

by Mark Rowe

Mark Rowley, Assistant Commissioner for Specialist Operations at the Metropolitan Police, will be a keynote speaker at the ASIS 15th European Security Conference and Exhibition, in London from April 6 to 8.

Assistant Commissioner Rowley is part of a programme that has been expanded to more than 50 sessions in five tracks. Topics being addressed include: Terrorism Outlook for Europe, Insider Threat, Cybersecurity, Business Value of Security, Internet of Things, and Security Technology and Solutions.

The conference sessions will be supplemented by professional tours on the day before the main conference. These tours give delegates a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at the British Museum (pictured), the nearby soon-to-be opened biomedical research centre the Francis Crick Institute, and the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

And networking events will be a feature of the conference. This year sees three receptions; the Welcome Party powered by Nedap at the Leadenhall Building, the President’s Reception, sponsored by Tyco Fire & Security in the Egyptian Sculpture Gallery of the British Museum, and a closing reception hosted by the ASIS United Kingdom Chapter at the House of Lords.
