360 partners

by Mark Rowe

360 Vision Technology, the UK manufacturer of HD, radar and thermal imaging PTZ cameras, has entered into an enhanced partnership with Zitko Talent. It’s an alliance of tech firms, educators and manufacturers seeking to attract and develop the next generation of fire and security engineers. 360 will be running generic course modules on CCTV theory, applications and system design considerations, and providing certified product training to Talent trainee engineers working with their products. Zitko Talent’s first quarterly intake of trainees includes graduates, career changers and engineers entering from other industries.

Sara Fisher, Sales Director at 360 says: “I have worked with Zitko to resource engineering positions for several years and 360 Vision are very pleased to be supporting their new Talent initiative. Developing new talent is the only way to solve the looming technical skills shortage and we’re determined to give trainees the strongest possible grounding in CCTV. We’re looking forward to working with our colleagues across the industry to make the programme a resounding success.”

George Zitko, pictured, MD at Zitko Consulting adds: “Manufacturers can play an immense role in developing the next generation of fire and security engineers and it’s terrific to have 360 Vision onboard. I can’t think of a better, more innovative company to lead on CCTV education. They have a formidable technical team and an outstanding track record, having delivered some of the most challenging CCTV solutions seen anywhere in the world. Welcoming them is another major milestone for Zitko Talent.”
