RSI Video Technologies and Corps Security in Strategic Partnership

by msecadm4921

RSI Video Technologies, manufacturer of the Videofied system, and Corps Security, one of the UK’s leading security companies, have announced a new strategic partnership. The two companies will work together to identify and target customers where the Videofied system can add value to existing security solutions.

RSI’s Videofied alarm system is completely wireless and battery operated and up to 24 PIR cameras can work off one control panel.  Activations are communicated back to the control panel that sends an alarm signal and 10 second video clips straight to Corp’s Monitoring Centre (CMC) over a GPRS network. The CMC’s operators can therefore effectively see what has triggered the alarm and can rule out any false alarms or instigate an urgent response where there is a genuine crime in progress.

Target markets for this service will include vacant property protection, construction sites, church roofs that need to protect against metal theft, and any mainstream commercial applications where video verification adds value to existing alarm systems.

Gary Frith, UK & Ireland Manager for RSI commented, “We have been impressed by the highly professional nature of the Corps operation and are looking forward to working with them to bring Videofied to a wider UK audience.”

Eric Roberts commented:  “Videofied will fit neatly within our portfolio of offerings to third party installers and RSI is a welcome addition to our group of partners.”
