Customers of Redvision, UK-based manufacturer of the modular X-SERIES™ dome / ball PTZs, can now select their preferred product colour. This service has been developed to meet the rising demand for security solutions that must be visually sympathetic and appropriate to their environment.
Redvision keeps a complete range of unpainted parts, specifically for its bespoke colour service. Customers simply specify the colour they require and all the X-SERIES™ external parts, including pedestal, wall and pendant mounting brackets, are painted and the dome built to order.
Customers can select any RAL colour in matt or gloss, along with metallic chrome or stainless steel effects. Powder-coated paint is used for a very robust, light-stable finish.
Paul Hucker, Managing Director of Redvision explains, “The new colour options are proving very popular, particularly for specialist applications, listed buildings and heritage sites. English Heritage uses a blue/grey, the Spanish Military use a “camouflage” shade and the Lawn Tennis Association has the domes painted Wimbledon Green.
“Painting CCTV equipment an appropriate colour allows architects and building maintenance teams to have greater flexibility in the X-SERIES™ location and use. This ensures a site is well protected and the surveillance equipment is in keeping with the building and architectural design.”
