G6 Global puts latest Hytera digital radio products under the spotlight at Counter Terror Expo

by msecadm4921

G6 Global, specialist consultants and providers of digital communications equipment including radio and satellite, have chosen the Counter Terror Expo to show the latest Hytera products, suited to counter terror, covert, surveillance, close protection and general security work.

With first-hand experience of operating in some of the world’s harshest field conditions, G6 has put together a range of options for those looking for advanced digital communications, whatever the challenges.  G6 Global’s ‘star of the show’ is the Hytera X1e – the world’s smallest commercially available covert radio.  This digital radio offers a unique alternative to traditional two-way radios with its slim line design and advanced features. It is ‘backwards compatible’ so will work in analogue mode with most existing systems along with any TDMA digital radio systems that operators may already have – including Motorola’s MOTOTRBO system. The X1 has built in Bluetooth and advanced encryption levels, plus location services for tracking or locating personnel and assets.

As well as advanced two-way digital radios handsets, G6 Global will also be showing how customised networks can be put together, with all the technology required; from base stations, masts and repeaters, to accessories and a full back-up service including site and vehicle installations.

Commenting on the importance of the Counter Terror Expo, Andrew Clark, Managing Director of G6 Global said; “This is an exciting time for digital radio communications as major investment and advanced technology is helping to deliver some highly specialised new products, ideally suited to counter terror work.  The Counter Terror Expo is an important opportunity for us to bring the Hytera brand to a wider audience.”

Although G6 Global’s stand at the Counter Terror Expo will major on Hytera products, the company is also able to provide a wider range of equipment from other manufacturers including Icom, Motorola and Kenwood.
