by msecadm4921

In order to build on the continuing success of the Corps Monitoring Centre (CMC), Corps Security has announced the appointment of Gary Anton as its new business development manager.

Anton will work alongside Eric Roberts, Corps Security’s CMC business development director, to enhance the company’s presence and drive demand for its market leading remote monitoring services. He will also be responsible for the business development strategy for the CMC and will manage its organisational objectives and strategic plans.

With over 30 years’ experience within the electronic security market and a wealth of knowledge gained from positions in engineering through to sales and systems development, Anton has worked for both regional and national companies. During his career he also owned his own security installation company, which after many years of successful growth was acquired by a leading national organisation.

Commenting on his new role Anton remarked, ‘It is clear that as well as having a rich and enviable heritage Corps Security is a highly ambitious and forward thinking company. My experience has involved the creation of remote monitoring centres and I know that in terms the technology housed there and the level of service that it offers, the CMC is without doubt the leading facility of its kind in the UK. It’s a very exciting time to join the company and I look forward to playing a key role in its continued success.’

Based in Glasgow, the CMC provides third party alarm receiving and CCTV monitoring services to a wide range of customers across many market sectors. Having been developed at a cost of £1.5m it incorporates only the highest specification equipment, which is constantly upgraded, and holds National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold accreditation, and BS 8418 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications.

Welcoming Anton on board, Eric Roberts, commented, ‘I am delighted that Gary has joined Corps Security and can use his considerable knowledge and experience to enhance the profile of the CMC. He clearly understands the needs of today’s security installers and I’m convinced that the drive, enthusiasm and ambition that he possesses will reap massive rewards.’
