Connexion2, developer and manufacturer of the award winning, lone worker security device, Identicom, has announced a partnership with Corps Security, a specialist security provider and one of the most respected companies in the UK market.

The Corps Monitoring Centre (CMC), is one of the most modern and advanced CCTV Monitoring facilities in the industry.  The CMC provides third-party alarm receiving and CCTV monitoring services to a wide range of customers across many market sectors.  The Centre will be connecting Identicom to an lmmix platform to enable the monitoring of the device.

Eric Roberts, CMC Business Development Director at Corps Security says:  “This is part of Corps Security’s determination to offer an unrivalled level of service using the best possible technology, thereby providing a truly independent, third-party facility that is one of the best of its kind in the UK.  We have already received interest in the Identicom solution and are currently conducting a trial with the man down enabled devices for a major blue chip company which, if successful, will result in an order for over 300 units”.

Corps Security will be actively promoting Identicom to a wide range of sectors including Transport and Logistics; the Public Sector (including Councils, sheltered accommodation and the Healthcare) as well as Industrial Facilities, Rail Networks and Retail organisations.  The CMC complies with BS8418; the code of practice for the installation and remote monitoring of detector activated CCTV systems and will soon be accredited to BS 8484, which ensures that a lone worker device service is fit for purpose.

Commenting, Andrew Parry, UK Channel Manager of Connexion2 says:  “We are delighted to welcome Corps Security as a new partner.  The company’s 150-year history as one of the UK’s most established and respected specialist services provider, with a reputation for excellence, makes Corps Security a valued partner to assist in raising the profile of lone worker security.”
