Specialist UK intruder alarm manufacturer Technistore Ltd has launched the ARN-1E Exit Terminator with built-in entry / exit buzzer.
According to the company it’s believed to be the first suitable for a Grade 3 intruder alarm system – the standard requirement in medium risk commercial premises.
The ARN-1E G3 Exit Terminator enables the final setting of an intruder alarm system from outside the building, after the user has initiated setting the system inside.
Its integral entry / exit buzzer allows users to know the exact moment the alarm system has been set and also alerts the user to any fault that may have developed on the system whilst exiting. This design provides installers with time and cost savings as a separate internal entry / exit buzzer is not required.
The product is housed in a vandal resistant stainless steel enclosure and features an IP66 rated push button, anti tamper micro switch on the lid and tamper proof lid screws. Designed to be surface mounted, it measures just 35mm across so can be easily installed on door frames, the makers say.
