Lock Show

by msecadm4921

The physical security product show Totally Secure has attracted its first signings with the Assa Abloy Group, Davenport Burgess, Master Lock, Sterling Locks and Total Product Sales taking space at the January show, which was launched earlier this month.

Assa Abloy has committed the first of its brands, Yale, to attending. Stephanie Sullivan, marketing manager for Yale UK said: “As the number one home security brand, we’re delighted to be exhibiting at the first ever Totally Secure show. We expect Totally Secure to attract locksmiths, as well as the more ‘traditional’ visitor. With such an accessible venue, it should also draw in visitors from the South, as well as further a field.

“We will be demonstrating the ‘complete security solution’ available from Yale, by showing a wide range of products from our extensive portfolio, including alarms and CCTV as well as traditional mechanical security. The shift towards electronic home security solutions is creating even more sales opportunities for retailers and installers alike, so we’re looking forward to showcasing our innovative range of easy-to-use products that are ideal for these markets.”

Davenport Burgess, a UK supplier of keys, key cutting equipment and locksmiths tools, has also confirmed its support for the show.  Director Steve Davenport commented: “This new show offers us a great opportunity to get closer to our target markets in the South and explore a new audience with regular attendees at the Tools and DIY shows.”

Master Lock will be using the show for a new launch.  Sales director Andy Culhane of Master Lock UK said: “The timing and focus of Totally Secure creates a great platform at which to announce our latest innovation.  The impact of our launch early next year will be of interest to the entire security sector – so the new show has our full support!”

Rex Atkins, business development director of Sterling Locks Ltd said: “Sterling Locks is delighted that Totally Secure has been set up to highlight the importance of the security sector alongside the DIY / Tools industry. The security industry has always had to work extra hard because of the diverse markets that we need to supply. For the first time this show will allow suppliers to create a focus around security.

“For example, Sterling offers ‘lifestyle’ locking products such as Post Boxes and Security Cables for consumers. It also supplies the Architectural Ironmongery and Builders’ Merchants markets, as well as having an extensive range of domestic and office security products from padlocks and hasps and staples to cash and boxes and key cabinets.

“Sterling is always looking to develop innovative ways to make quality products at great value prices across all its ranges. So being able to encourage a real focus on retailers of security is a great opportunity for the industry and we are looking forward to the show with great interest.”

Michele Smith, managing director of Total Product Sales, said: “This show offers us a new and refreshing opportunity to show off our quality range of Lockey Keyless door locks and promote our new Lockey Keyless ‘Key Safe’ to a wider variety of buyers and businesses.”

Totally Secure is organised by Brintex.

“These companies represent big brands that span the security market, from professional use products through to domestic use, and we’re pleased they regard Totally Secure as a useful addition to their marketing plans,” said show director James Murray.  “We’ve received a lot of interest from companies who operate in the professional security market in the show, and we’ll be making more exhibitor announcements soon.”

Further information on Totally Secure will be available shortly via the website or give the show’s sale director Paul Grinsell a call on 020 7973 4734.
