by msecadm4921

The new IP-6430 PZT dual-codec camera is offered by Premier Electronics.

It provides selectable MJPEG or MPEG4 compression, which ensures quality pictures without comprising bandwidth, according to the firm. Pan zoom and tilt enables remote monitoring through operator control from any PC connected to a local area network (LAN) or the internet.

The camera provides a 270K pixel colour CCD working down to 1.5Lux, normal mode, 0.05Lux in low light mode. It provides MPEG4 or MJPEG with JPEG for still images and has a built in 10x optical zoom and a 10x times digital zoom. Video streams can be time stamped with text overlay. It allows up to three configurable motion detection windows and flip or mirror features. To enable local set-up a video output connector is provided. Full duplex audio, with selectable bit rates, enables two-way communication; this is further enhanced by echo cancellation. The PZT system gives plus or minus 135 degrees pan and plus 90 degrees minus 45 degrees tilt. This also allows auto pan and patrol modes. One input and one output sensor can be connected to call alarms or move camera to set position. The network protocols are UpnP, CP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, Telnet, NTP, DNS, DDNS and DHCP via a 10/100base T Fast Ethernet. Software is provided, which allows remote control of up to 16 cameras. Event triggered, scheduled or manual recordings. Instant search with preview windows, fast/slow forward and replay with pause facility.
