The first IP UserGroup meeting in the Netherlands saw an educational seminar programme and products on show in the exhibition area.
With some 70 guests and members converging for IP- in-Action LIVE from countries such as Belgium, France, Hungary and the UK as well as The Netherlands, the day provided a full presentational programme at the Hotel Schiphol Airport A4 in Hoofddorp near Amsterdam.
The IP-in-Action LIVE programme is a series of focused educational and promotional events presenting networked security and building management technology to an audience, with the aim to increase understanding and acceptance of IP networked technology across a range of applications.
Guest speaker, Iljitsch van Beijnum, an independent network consultant and author, was representing the IPv6 Forum who presented "IPv6 – The New Internet and what it means to you". He explained the need for IPv6 to replace IPv4, how it would effect businesses and the expected timescales for the changes.
