Spring dance

by Mark Rowe

The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals (WCoSP) is holding its Spring Dance on Saturday, March 1 at The Rembrandt Hotel, 11 Thurloe Place, Knightsbridge, London SW7 2RS. For details and to book email: [email protected]

Organisers are holding an auction and raffle during the evening. If you are able to donate items of memorabilia or perhaps experiences others could not otherwise buy, we would be most grateful. This could be private tours, corporate dining or event tickets.

Tickets for the event are £115 including VAT for a four-course dinner with wines. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Company’s Charitable Trust (Reg Charity No: 1088658). The night will also be raising funds for the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers’ Disney Trip for terminally ill children.

Seating is in tables of ten. Organisers say that they will do our utmost to accommodate those who wish to be grouped with other guests provided that you complete and return the attached booking form with full details as soon as possible. Advise Past Master Peter French if you or your guests have any special dietary requirements.

Peter French said: “We thank Claire and Gerry Lambert of Charter Security for again providing the sound system and our evening supporter Anthony King of Kings Security Systems, yet again, for ensuring that we will have a fun evening.”

The management of the Rembrandt Hotel are supporting the Company by offering a bedroom rate for the Saturday night of £150 for double occupation; the rate includes a full English breakfast and is also available for the preceding night – use booking reference: ‘The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals’ when booking a room.
