National security summit

Counter-terrorism, data protection, cyber-security and civil emergencies are among the subjects at a one-day National Security Summit in London on October 21. The main speaker is Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, Metropolitan Police Commissioner, pictured.

Other speakers include Stephen Deadman, Group Privacy Officer and Head of Legal, Privacy, Security and Content Standards, Vodafone Group; Rob Wainwright, Director, Europol; Charles Farr, Director General of the Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism, Home Office; Lord West of Spithead, Member of the Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy and former Parliamentary Under-Secretary of Security and Counter Terrorism, Home Office; and Sir Paul Stephenson, former Commissioner, Metropolitan Police.
