IFSEC support

by Mark Rowe

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has continued its exclusive support to IFSEC International, IFSEC organisers and owners UBM Live report. The trade association has also confirmed commitment to the security show moving to London in 2014.

James Kelly, Chief Executive Officer, BSIA said: “The BSIA is delighted to have renewed our partnership with UBM around IFSEC as the industry’s leading event for cementing and nurturing relationships across the buying chain. Providing a forum for the interaction of users, manufacturers and installers in a world where technology is constantly changing and enabling new applications is central to creating a cohesive and energised national industry.

“In an increasingly competitive global marketplace, UK PLC’s leadership is renowned, and serves as a useful driver for exports. IFSEC’s new London base will serve to serve to further enhance its attractiveness to overseas buyers as well as putting it on the doorstep of Government. We look forward to working with UBM to leverage the further opportunities that this will present,” Kelly confirmed.

The BSIA is the exclusive association event partner of IFSEC. Charlie Cracknell, IFSEC Security Event Director, UBM Live, said: “Our strategic partnership with the BSIA is paramount to the continued development and success of IFSEC International and its ability to reflect the needs of both the UK and international security markets. IFSEC will continue to facilitate the security sectors business and growth by delivering and connecting the full security eco-system of manufacturers, distributors, installers, integrators and end-users. We look forward to the next chapter of the event alongside the BSIA.”
