IFSEC 360 next month

by Mark Rowe

The inaugural IFSEC 360, a three-day cycling event from June 14 to 16, is being sponsored by Axis Security . It’s also raising money for Coram, an adoption charity that aims to help vulnerable children.

Gary Stanton, Commercial Manager at Axis Security, proposed the cycle event having raised money for the property industry charity event, Cycle to Cannes in 2014. Gary says: “It is a tremendous opportunity for security professionals to ride and network alongside like-minded people, and raise money for a superb charity. As a group, we will work together at the pace of the slowest rider to make sure everyone gets to the finish.”

And Chris Wisely, Axis Security’s Managing Director, says: “We are thrilled our employees get involved in such great causes, and encourage everyone to get involved. I hope this can become an annual event.”

Departing from London, riders of all abilities will embark on the 360km route with a professional entourage of a lead car, motorcycle outriders, mechanics, physios and paramedics, and will return to the capital on their final 80km leg, finishing at the Excel Centre, pictured, in time for IFSEC 2015, the security show at London Docklands.
