Founding 50 offer

by Mark Rowe

The organisers of the new show Security Technology Live have announced what they term a radical new pricing model for exhibition space at their event, at the NEC, Birmingham next year.

Stand space rates for the exhibition from May 13 to 15, 2014 will start at £200 per sqm for the first 50 exhibitors to sign up for the show no matter what stand size, described as a “Founding 50” special rate.

Security Technology Live 2014 will run over three days rather than the more traditional four. The organisers Clarion say the shorter time means exhibitors will be able to make savings on stand build and other show costs such as hotel bills, and cut the time staff are away from the office, helping to maximise return on investment in exhibiting.

Clarion Defence and Security Managing Director Tim Porter said: “By running Security Technology Live over three days we are not only helping our exhibitors save money on setting up for the show, we’ve also been able to reduce our own venue costs significantly too – and we feel it is only fair to pass these savings onto exhibitors in the form of lower prices than those of comparable four-day shows.”

The show will the organisers add focus on commercial and residential installers. Porter added: “Exhibitors at Security Technology can be confident that Clarion will be investing 100 per cent of our marketing budget into attracting the security channel and installer demographic from across the UK and Europe. If your market is the security channel, every penny we spend goes into attracting the visitors you want to meet.”

Companies interested in exhibiting should contact Philip Hunter, Event Director on T: +44 (0) 20 7384 7776 or email [email protected].
