Data destruction website

by Mark Rowe

S2S Group, the Rotherham based data destruction and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) recycling company has launch its new website.

The site went live during January 2015; clients can log in and book collections and request quotes, and downloading documentation and certificates of destruction. S2S business development director Chris Hare, pictured, said: “The reasons behind developing this new website are far more than merely cosmetic. Customer feedback made it clear that fast, secure access to our services online would be a popular feature so while delivering this, it made sense to refresh the whole website. The expansion of the S2S group meant we had outgrown the old site and while it had served us well a complete rebuild was in order and we are very pleased with the results.”

With so much business now done online, S2S says it saw the need for a portal that could better adapt to and meet the needs of clients. The new site features a news area outlining group activities with inclusion of all the S2S divisions.

Hare said: “The underlying aim has been to make it easier for people to find S2S online, while logos make each group division easy to identify and access. The website is a shop window for S2S services so it had to be right. Clients who need information about our range of solutions now have to tool to deliver it.”

The company achieved the PAS 141 accreditation, a process management specification for the re-use of used and waste electrical and electronic equipment (UEEE and WEEE), making S2S one of only two companies in the UK to have achieved this.
