Video security system

by Mark Rowe

Geutebruck has brought out a video security system for the healthcare sector.

Everything has to fit: medical services, care, technology, and protection against direct and indirect health risks and even criminal acts. The German CCTV firm says that its video security system for the medical sector has been designed as a central part of a comprehensive security solution. With its open interfaces to all other security subsystems it provides image information at the right time.

Applications range from the patient observation in the intensive care unit to access control. Automatically or manually, it is possible to monitor just what needs to be seen. Intelligent video analysis automatically detects what is required. If an alarm occurs, it is activated, the pre-history saved, the events played back in the live stream and the location displayed in the graphic map. The automatically generated information package makes it possible to clearly assess the situation and take action.

In case of theft, search algorithms find the recorded incident. The search filter operates for time, date, event type, movement in the frame, fast-forward, rewind for all cameras or just one.
