OCS retains contract with BUPA

by Mark Rowe

OCS has secured an extension to its soft facilities management contract with BUPA, the private healthcare company. The contract is worth £21m over the potential contract term.

The contractor will provide alarm response and key holding, security systems, manned guarding, cleaning and window cleaning, horticulture, pest control, consumables, washroom, clinical and confidential waste recycling, document management and CAFM helpdesk services to 34 sites across the UK, with further growth anticipated, the FM firm adds.

The locations include office accommodation, wellness centres and dental practices, with around 160 operatives working on site, with a dedicated management and administrative team.

Richard Marshall, National Accounts Director, said: “We are delighted to have retained this prestigious contract with such a renowned name in the private healthcare sector, which is largely due to the ongoing commitments of our dedicated management team. It is testament to the hard work of all the staff involved with the contract, together with our innovative approach to customer service and operational delivery.”
OCS has worked with BUPA since April 2009.
