Branded cheques for schools

by Mark Rowe

TALL Security Print, part of The TALL Group of Companies, a UK provider of secure paper and electronic payment products, has been awarded a three-year contract by St Helens Council to supply 45 local primary and secondary schools with personalised cheques. Each school will be supplied with at least 200 cheques a year, meaning that TALL will provide a minimum of 27,000 items over the contract. The cheques – which will feature each school’s specific branding – will be printed and delivered by the Runcorn-based company upon request.

TALL Security Print was awarded the contract after a competitive tender process. St Helens Council was impressed with the firm’s services, its ordering and distribution processes, and ability to provide value for money.

Brian Carney, Commercial Director at TALL Security Print, said: “The cheque still remains an important payment tool for schools across the region when dealing with suppliers. TALL Security Print has the expertise to proficiently process and print personalised cheques for each establishment, which helps the schools to maintain a professional image. We look forward to working closely alongside their team for the next three years. We are extremely proud to have secured this contract with St Helens Council and to support local schools with the provision of branded cheques. We can guarantee that any orders will be fulfilled and distributed in a highly efficient manner, to ensure that each school can always make payments without delay.”
