Translation services

by Mark Rowe

Marsolutions, provider of specialised translation services to the security sector, has gained full regular membership of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC).

Marsolutions provides a range of translation and language services in, the company says, an increasingly globalised world. The firm says it champions a tailored approach, carefully selecting translators and project managers that have knowledge not only of the desired language but also the sector in which each customer operates.

Phil Tennent, commercial director of Marsolutions, who has previously been a key Sales Director at Norbain SD, Pelco and Honeywell Security, is pictured at the Security TWENTY 19 exhibition at Birmingham in February. He says: “Receiving accreditation from the ATC is a tremendous accolade for our team. As a member of this prestigious industry body, customers can be reassured that the services we provide are correct, culturally sensitive, and of the highest standard. Moreover, our business is proven to operate using the latest translation practices and technologies along with relevant understanding of the security sector and its specific needs.”

Members of the ATC are vetted before admission into membership and adhere to a code of professional conduct. They are subject to the rulings of a professional ethics committee and carry full professional indemnity insurance cover to safeguard the interests of translation buyers.

Beatriz Tennent, managing director of Marsolutions adds: “The accreditation enables us to build on our already broad range of customer sectors, by enabling Marsolutions to speak with authority to Government on matters concerning the translation profession. As a full member of the ATC, we are now able to produce certified translations for all official documents, including identity documents for passport services.” Visit www.marsolutions.net.
