Security & Policing 2021 is online event

by Mark Rowe

The Home Office organisers of the annual invite-only Security & Policing exhibition have decided to host Security & Policing 2021 as an online event, instead of at the usual Farnborough venue, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will take place as originally scheduled, between Tuesday and Thursday, March 9 to 11.

The Joint Security and Resilience Centre (JSaRC), alongside Government partners, and the Department for International Trade, UK Defence & Security Exports, says that’s in consultation with industry partners.

Security & Policing 2021 will remain a closed event, in that exhibitors and visitors are subject to Home Office approval; and the event will continue to provide an opportunity to meet, network and discuss the latest in delivering national security and resilience with UK suppliers, UK Government officials and senior decision makers across law enforcement and security.

The organisers are working with a secure digital platform, with networking functionality and virtual exhibition halls that will ensure engagement between exhibitors, key stakeholders, international delegations, police services and Government departments.

Delegates will have access to live and on-demand content, immersive features and keynotes from senior Government officials across three core themes of Resilience, Recovery and Rebuild. Visit securityandpolicing.co.uk.

Online visitor registration will be launched in coming weeks, organisers add.
