PASS board

by msecadm4921

Four figures from UK trade associations have joined the Board of PASS, the national proof of age schemes. They are: Paul Baxter, Chief Executive of the National Federation of Retail Newsagents; Miles Beale, Chief Executive of Wine and Spirit Trade Association; Paul Davies, Finance Director of the British Retail Consortium; and Peter Thomas, Chief Executive of the British Institute of Innkeeping.

These appointments replace previous representatives from these organisations who have moved into new roles over the past few months.

PASS Chairman, Robert Humphreys said: “High level support from politicians, police, trading standards and the industry has been vital to establishing the credibility of PASS scheme.  The fact that such senior players are willing to invest significant amounts of their time as Board members shows just how seriously the industry takes its responsibility in preventing under age sales.”
