Kings hosts Yorkshire hub

by Mark Rowe

Kings Secure Technologies is the host for the Cross-sector Safety and Security Communications (CSSC) North East and Yorkshire hub, covering Northumberland, Cleveland, County Durham, Humberside and Yorkshire.

Bradford-based Kings will be acting as a point of contact between public and private sectors, to provide information and guidance, and aid a flow of communication to businesses who have signed up to this free service.

Briefly, CSSC is a partnership between law enforcement, the private sector and local and national government. CSSC dates from 2011, ahead of the 2012 Olympics; and became a charitable service in 2013. CSSCs work as a messaging platform to distribute regional and national security messages for better business resilience, whether in case of terrorism, cybercrime, public order events, environmental and transportation issues, or fraud alerts. Business operators can then cascade necessary information to their teams and customers.

Paul Ottley, Account Director of Kings Secure Technologies said: “It is a great achievement to be working alongside the CSSC, a largely recognised charity, that is already having a positive impact on the way that important information is communicated to businesses.”

Membership to the CSSC Yorkshire & North East hub network is free: visit https://www.thecssc.com/membership/.
