The finalists in this year’s Inspiration in HR Award are AXIS Communications, Axis Security, CIS Security, Gratte Brothers, Helen Corbett of the Security Institute, and Wilson James.
Now in its 12th year, open to individuals or organisations, the award marks the work of Human Resources people in the security sector. Judges are looking for best practice in Human Resource Management where an organisation recognises that HR is a business enabler.
To reach the shortlist organisations will have demonstrated that they are quality focused and have a pride in looking after and developing their workforce. Shortlisted companies consider their HR function give them a competitive edge, they clearly demonstrate going beyond any current standards. This award recognises a critical differentiator in business application.
David Clark Chairman of ASIS Chapter 208 said: “This award is increasingly hard to judge but this year is even more challenging, I am enormously pleased to see three organisations from outside of the manned guarding sector (which usually makes up the large majority) making deserving submissions. This is surely testimony to the prestige and expansiveness of this particular award.”
