by msecadm4921

A CCTV image of a man police want to speak with after a spitting against a security officer in Morecambe, defined as a common assault, has been released by Lancashire Police.

At 3pm on Thursday, July 19, a man was asked to leave the Arndale Shopping Arcade after reports of nuisance behaviour. The man has then become verbally aggressive and has spat into the face of a security guard before running off.

The male is described as being aged between 17 and 19 years, wearing a grey or off-white hooded top with black shorts with multi coloured stripes down the side.

Sergeant Guy Hamlett said: “I’d ask people to take a close look at the CCTV image and if anyone recognises the male I’d ask them to contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting crime reference BB1202765.” For the CCTV visit the Lancashire Police website
