Advent IM hybrid opening

by Mark Rowe

The information security consultancy and training firm, Advent IM Ltd, reports growth as the move to remote and hybrid working adds to cyber demands, in the public and private sectors alike.

As a specialist in cyber security risk, policy, compliance and training services, Advent IM has seen growth in revenue during the covid pandemic; and has added to its staff, and continues to recruit to meet demand in services.

The enforced lockdown restrictions and call to work from home since spring 2020 has also enabled the firm to reap productivity and efficiency rewards while staff embrace the new work-life balance. Advent IM has downsized from its corporate offices in Coombs Wood, Halesowen and returned to the place it all started for the company, Cradley Enterprise Centre, nearby. The centre is now the hub for Advent’s hybrid working model enabling staff the option of remote or office working to suit. The local MP James Morris will officially open the new Advent IM office on Friday, September 10.

Advent IM Managing Director Mike Gillespie, pictured, says: “This relocation and downsize has enabled Advent IM to significantly reduce our property costs, releasing money that is now ring-fenced for further company growth as we embark on another round of recruitment this autumn, creating jobs around the country with our increased flexibility.”
