Valley watch

by Mark Rowe

A new contract to provide officers for a patrol car and CCTV operations at a northern England trading estate has gone to Axis Security.

Two Axis Security officers will provide 24-hour patrols, key holding and control room monitoring on behalf of Valleywatch, a Tyneside CCTV monitoring station, which has been working with local businesses for more than a decade. The officers will have particular responsibility for the Team Valley Trading Estate.

Cyril Deeming, General Manager at Valleywatch says it has a proud history of delivering peace of mind by providing a service that has consistently reduced criminal activity: “This in turn has boosted commercial confidence and has enabled our customers to live and work in a low crime free environment,” he says.

“We are pleased to be able to add highly trained and experienced guards from Axis Security to our network. Although it is early days, we are already pleased with how the contract is working.”

Jonathan Levine, Axis Group CEO, says: “We are proud to be part of the continued success of the Valleywatch scheme in supporting business growth and protecting local firms from becoming the victims of crime.”
