Sports deal

LSS, Compass Group UK & Ireland’s specialist provider of support services to sport and leisure venues, has won a new, five year contract with The Bank of England Sports Centre. LSS – part of Levy Restaurants UK – will provide facilities management services to the 32 acre membership sports centre near Richmond, in west London.

The contract sees the 18-strong onsite LSS team provide cleaning, security and maintenance services for the club which, as well as having provided sports facilities for the Bank of England for over 100 years, hosts annually the Wimbledon tennis qualifying tournament.

The facilities on site include wedding and banqueting, a swimming pool, gymnasiums, sports halls, cricket nets, five a side football pitches, snooker rooms, squash courts, sun terraces, lawn tennis courts, all weather tennis courts, playgrounds, astro turf pitches, cricket pitches and grass football pitches.

We awarded LSS the contract because of their proven ability to operate in vibrant and high profile public environments, as well as their expertise in delivering a range of specialist and tailored services at similar venues.”
