Property maintenance contract win

by Mark Rowe

KM Security Solutions have won a new access control and CCTV maintenance contract at one of The Property Trust Group’s iconic buildings, Brook House, on the east side of Tottenham Court Road, at the heart of London’s tourist and shopping centre.

This latest contract coincides with the group’s recent fifth anniversary of its specialist security service. The security firm says it offers its clients a range of electronic and manned guarding security services, from static guarding and concierge to bespoke CCTV and Remote Monitoring.

Paul Stanger at KMS Group, pictured, said: “We invest in our staff with the right training that enables them to deliver the best service possible, anticipating clients needs and helping them to find the best solution to secure their property or work premises“.

The firm quotes a recent Home Office Criminal survey report, that found that whilst 60 per cent of the UK population perceives a little or strong increase in crime, during the period 2010/11 crime figures actually reduced by 4pc with 10 million fewer cases recorded than in 1995. According to the firm, such reduction in the number of recorded crimes owes largely to improved property security systems and use of CCTV installed by private security firms.

KM have been awarded the status of Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor, together with the DTI ‘Tick and Crown’ ISO 9002 accreditation. CCTV and remote Monitoring systems conform to the CCTV Data Protection Act and are installed to meet with SSAIB and NACOSS standards.
