A multi-functional lighting column has been fitted at Stadium MK, the home of Milton Keynes Dons Football Club (MK Dons for short).
Schréder installed its Shuffle at the front of the stadium’s box office and superstore. The interactive column includes 360 degree LED lighting, CCTV to cover the reception entrance, a public address (PA) speaker for match day announcements and wireless internet (Wi-Fi) connectivity for visitors. The CCTV and PA speaker are connected to the MK Dons control room.
The modular nature of the product means that it can be upgraded, for instance to offer mobile device charging and feature advertising.
Development of Stadium MK and Arena MK was led by Pete Winkelman and his company Inter MK Group. Winkelman is also the chairman of the League One club.
