Crime fighting for breakfast

by Mark Rowe

London First is running a briefing on ‘Crime Fighting – The role of the new NCA in helping business’ on Tuesday, October 22, 8.30am for 9am to 11am.

With the official launch of the NCA in October, and the imminent release of a new national crime strategy, it is an appropriate moment to hear from senior directors of the Agency and the Home Office on how the organisation intends to fulfil its role and help businesses to tackle serious and organised crime. The speakers will explain how the NCA differs from its predecessor (SOCA) and what new priorities it has in law enforcement within the new UK crime strategy. There will be an opportunity for questions.

Chairman: Sir David Veness CBE QPM, Chairman Advisory Board Security & Resilience Network, London First.

Speakers:
Gareth Hill, Director, Serious and Organised Crime, Home Office
Keith Bristow QPM, Director General, NCA
Andy Archibald, Head, National Cyber Crime Unit, NCA

The number of places is limited so it would be appreciated if you could confirm your participation to Yoshina Boodhoo at [email protected] by Friday, September 27.
