Waltham Forest College has chosen remotely monitored CCTV from Chubb Fire & Security Limited to protect students, staff and buildings.
Given pressure on the public purse, the College looking for more cost-effective 24-7 security. Chubb proposed adding remote monitoring to the 100-plus cameras at the north London site, for operators within a dedicated monitoring station to see and respond if an incident occurs, whether by issuing a verbal warning or by calling the police.
Mark Cumberbatch, Head of Security, Waltham Forest College, said: “Chubb’s history of providing security services has always proven positive. As we go through a period of cost savings, it is essential that we maintain a tight grip on our security protection.”
Chubb also monitors the E17 college’s intruder alarms and ensures the intruder and CCTV systems are integrated. Its contract with the college also includes servicing and maintaining the CCTV cameras on site.
Cumberbatch added: “As part of our ongoing contract, Chubb will replace obsolete equipment with the latest technologies. Chubb’s service from installation to aftercare is excellent.”
