Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited (SMBCE) has chosen Wilson James as their new security supplier for manned guarding.

The contact which began on April 1, 2015 covers both of SMBCE’s corporate sites in the City of London. The guarding firm says that its experience delivering manned guarding services for large international corporates with presence in the UK enabled them to understand SMBCE’s needs and offer a service aligned with their organisational culture and business objectives.

Charlie Cleverly, Director Security London, Wilson James said: “We are delighted to be working with SMBCE. We were able to approach the contract with some innovations to improve the service and help SMBCE meet their future needs as well as their imminent ones. Also we both value our people and recognise that through training and development our trusted and reliable people will help SMBCE grow and prosper through the delivery of our manned guarding services. ’

Tim Brooks, Head of Physical Security, EMEA, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited, said: “Wilson James provide highly trained security professionals and expertise. They have received a number of awards for both their client service and development of their staff something which we recognised. Wilson James put forward a compelling innovative solution, both culturally and technically, as well as possessing extensive experience of providing similar services to other leading organisations in the UK. We believe these factors combined make Wilson James the right partner for us.”
