The Abu Dhabi Investment Council is an investment arm of the government of Abu Dhabi. The council started work in April 2007. The council relied on an SMS messaging service, which was limiting during crisis situations. The council sought a platform that could deliver two-way voice, text, and other messages to 200 countries.

“We have many staff members who travel overseas for business purposes,” says Moayed Mahmoud, Business Continuity Specialist at the council, “and Send Word Now’s robust international alerting service helps us to make sure that they are safe and informed at all times.”

The council uses Send Word Now’s messaging platform to alert staff members any time that there is an emergency, network outage, or other business disruption. “Whenever we have a critical incident, we can get in touch with all of our staff members, via multiple channels, with just the click of a button,” Mahmoud says.
