Earpiece donation

by Mark Rowe

The British manufacturer of body armour and security products, VestGuard UK, have supported many charitable organisations in their time. From international charities such as the Afghan War Widows project and the HALO project with donations of de-mining equipment, VestGuard UK have also supported more local charities that have personally touched members of their team.

In 2012, VestGuard are still striving to do as much as they can for charities and have announced that they are offering their entire security earpiece range to members. For every earpiece sold, VestGuard will donate £1 to The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals, to support their remarkable efforts to raise funds for charity.

Oliver Lincoln, Commercial Director at VestGuard UK, pictured, said; “As a member of the WCOSP myself, I see first hand the good work that they do and charities supported. Close to VestGuard’s defence and security sectors, WCOSP supports education with donations to the Harrow Air Cadets and to the Bexley Business Academy Army and Police Cadet schemes. On top of this, the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals support charities close to London, including the Magical Taxi Tour.”

A charity event each year sees a convoy of licensed London taxis take some 200 children, suffering from a range of chronic debilitating illnesses and life limiting conditions, on a three-day trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Paris.

“As a firm, I am intent on supporting the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals with their well chosen charities and foundations. By giving up a £1 of our profit on the sale of each earpiece, I hope that we too can make a difference to those who continue to benefit from the giving of the WCOSP, added Oliver Lincoln.
