TEAM Software, the workforce management software firm for security guarding companies, is supporting the Professional Security Magazine’s 2021 Women in Security (WiS) Awards. The Awards, which recognise and honour the accomplishments, value and contributions of women within the wider world of security, are running live for the first time since 2019, on Thursday evening, September 9 at Shakespeare’s Underglobe Theatre beside the Thames at Southwark, in London.
Awardees will be recognised in these five categories: security manager, front line, business manager, technical, and contribution to industry. Nominees for each category are submitted by peers in the industry. Judges for this year’s event as in previous years have included representatives from the Association of Security Consultants, ASIS International, British Security Industry Association, Fire & Security Association, International Professional Security Association, National Security Inspectorate, Security Industry Authority, Security Institute, Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board and the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals.
TEAM Managing Director Graeme Hughes said: “We’re proud to support this event whose goals centre on recognising the accomplishments of women in our industry.
