Last call for UK OSPAs entries

by Mark Rowe

Organisers of the Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) are making a final call for entries to the UK awards for 2021. You have until midnight on Thursday, October 1, to enter; entry is free.

Briefly, in several countries, the OSPAs seek to recognise and reward companies and individuals across the security sector. The OSPAs formed by Prof Martin Gill of consultancy Perpetuity Research are designed to be independent and inclusive, for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers.

Anyone working in the security sector of a country with an OSPAs scheme can enter. You don’t have to be a member of an organisation or association. The UK has 16 categories.

UK sponsors are TEAM Software, the UK defence and security trade body ADS, the contractor Bidvest Noonan, Edith Cowan University, the National Security Inspectorate (NSI); and the Security Institute.

Meanwhile the free Thought Leadership webinars under the OSPAs banner are still running, Tuesdays and Thursdays, as they have since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the UK in the spring.
