Further ST20 date move

by Mark Rowe

Security TWENTY Manchester was due to be the next event in the ST20 series of conference-exhibitions around the British Isles. We’ve had to put it back to Tuesday, January 19, 2021. It’ll still be called ST20 Manchester, because the July 2021 ST event in Manchester will also go ahead.

Professional Security magazine MD Roy Cooper said: “There’s no way we would be able to have a gathering of 200 or 300 people that early in July.” The venue remains the same as in 2019 (pictured, the show floor) – the Principal Hotel on Oxford Road in downtown Manchester, now called the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel.

That means the next events in the ST20 series are the pair in Ireland – at the Europa Hotel, Belfast on Tuesday, September 29; and Red Cow Moran Hotel, on the outskirts of Dublin, on the Thursday, October 1.

On November 5 comes ST20 London at its usual Heathrow venue, the Park Inn hotel over the road from the entrance to the airport; but that is not the end of the year as it usually is. Instead, ST20 Glasgow will run on November 24 at the Hilton Hotel, William Street, Glasgow, the event put back from April.

For details to exhibit or attend, email organiser Liz Lloyd at [email protected]. You can sign up to attend on the ‘Security TWENTY‘ part of the website – it’s free, aimed at anyone interested in private security, whether you are an installer, end user, consultant or specifier, or just someone who wants to stay up to date about the industry.

If you haven’t visited an ST event before, or you have and you want to see if you had your picture taken that day, visit the ‘Gallery‘ section of our website for the ST events dating back to the beginning, at Birmingham in spring 2013.
