This company provides comprehensive solutions for the access control market that improve security and convenience for medium to enterprise businesses. They are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer to join their business. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting their sales team in pre-sales, training, and troubleshooting their portfolio of access control solutions for customers.
Role
This individual will be responsible for building strong technical skills to support the growth of the user base of security products across the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities
• Support UK customers in relation to software issues
• Support UK customers in relation to hardware issues
• Managing incidents and support issues through to resolution
• Offer an excellent level of customer service
• Maintain strong relationships with clients
• Maintain strong relationships with the offshore technical teams
• Provide training via webinars and face to face to customers where required
Required
• Experience in security/access control/biometrics would be advantageous
• Strong customer services experience
• Help desk or service desk experience
• Networking experience
• IP protocols, troubleshooting, and configuration
• Experience working SQL system would be desirable but not essential
• Good communication and technical presentation skills
• Strong team player with a customer-oriented mindset and self-motivated
